I was told that I could speak in English to them because they went around with translators, but I also felt that it was part of my showing respect to learn to speak in their native tongue, and having a need to learn a certain amount of fluency, even if I do advocate for Texas to be it's own private space launch capabilities through SpaceX, and NASA Johnson at Houston Space Center and ClearLake being a portal to Human Spaceflight, until we get there, we have a saying that our astronauts and cosmonauts get along even if the people in our government do not all the time.
I learned how to read certain schematics of flight in Russian at Fondren Library, I have some other books about how Russians play chess for example, and I have taken formal college course in Russian, as well as Japanese, Arabic, following up on Spanish which I started in a High School environment during summer courses at age 11 going on 12, in Round Rock, Texas, a fairly small town when I started growing up there before moving to San Antonio and then around Texas.
We have a CISCO system that allows us to do conference calls securely where I first inquired about speaking to a reporter who sent me one of her novels of how she became the first woman to take the astronaut tests as a reporter.
Japanese was my original broadcast language through YouTube and at the State Capital, when I was enrolled in the course, because I had also written all 2,000 kanji characters and was interested in Anime, and traveling to Japan someday, I grew up on Hello Kitty, a Sanrio, a Japanese company. I will be passing down my Hello Kitty collection to my daughter who I named when I was 8 years old, even though I did not know when I was going to have her, I just knew what I was going to name her.
So if you do not understand Russian and are not familiar with the Cryllic language, I would not be too concerned about my broadcast. I am merely inviting them to come, and have no way of knowing when they will receive the transmission when I am done recording because someone has to contact their representative to see how to do a formal invite.
I am just sharing with you my audience as an example, and while this may seem like it is only 6 or 7 paragraphs, if you study Russian, or have studied other languages before, doing a translation for something that could end up being viewed publically actually takes more than one opinion.
I hope everyone is well, I also worked on a PowerPoint presentation earlier today over my human-trafficking report for inviting a few politicians from each party to give an update and talk about what is working and what is not with survivors, the law, and law enforcement. I started working at 5:30AM so I am posting this to sign off and sleep in a little later perhaps, I have a new class tomorrow!
