Aviation Club & Space Society supporting formation of AIAA

I am serving as the current President for Aviation Club & Space Society, our Aviation Club was founded by then President Matthew Engel and Anh Nhat Nguyen Founding Vice President where I worked my way up to an officer as a NASA Contact (my title), & our current Vice President Tarang Brahme, is forming a new chapter for the AIAA students, where I have assisted them with getting the documentation & meetings to found a UTD-AIAA (or) an AIAA-UTD chapter, & they have a conference in April with UT-Arlington they have been working with to provide support and wait on a committee to approve the club, where as I will not be a student with them, I am now listed as an educator, because I went through the student training already, and through my non-profits and teaching, I am creating lesson plans that will also be submitted to the AIAA education people, so far I have come up with some chess designs that include aircraft because I am finishing a paper for feedback, and am seeking ways to be able to teach the past, present, and current future to N3 aircraft which I have some manuals that I would be able to let others use for educational purposes, and am getting school trips lined up with members by their interest, or students by their interest, or what have not. The students for AIAA at UTDallas has grown from the 22 listed here when we obtained approval for the deans office.

Pretty sure I gave my favorite wings jacket to the Salvation Army during the tornadoes. I hope it encourages someone to learn how to fly :)

I was able to get combat airplanes, and ask students to pick out which aircraft they thought were cool to make as chess pieces, and regular aircraft, and so forth.

My chart for airports, whether they are public, or private, and companies that we have met through AIAA or elsewhere, I am hoping that our club will be able to use some of that to be able to plan their flight training, or facilities that they would want to work with if they are not aware of the companies we toured or are going to tour, and so on.

I was able to get new International Space Station patches put on my suit, and have another designed for applying to the astronaut program.

I do not know which Rockets to put yet, but here is a picture of my son with a model rocket when we visited Johnson, we are setting up a tour with Ad Astra for the students at some point.

Our @astronautpoodle (this is Squire Maguire's twitter) had also gotten a new patch so we will have to take new photos in our teaching and traveling endeavors.

& I want to make sure I list the ratings by pilots license that the students, and myself, need to know about what is required to operate what aircraft.

I have some basic lessons that American Flyers requires the discovery flight first time pilots to be able to master before they go up in the air the first time, and we have an extensive Special Collections Aviation Library at McDermott, so I am hoping that with the 300% increase in applications for astronaut positions with NASA that occurred this year above 18,000 than the last cycle we had open applications which was slightly above 6,000 we will have more people learning how to fly, and getting involved in both the public and private sector for aviation and space.

I am also hoping that since Glamour Magazine http://www.glamour.com/inspired/2016/01/nasa-women-astronauts-first-trip-to-mars was able to encourage women who are already experienced astronauts that are wanting to go to mars, that it will open the doors for the rest of us who have created projects for the trip, and more girls and women will be getting involved to make the simulations, gain experience towards getting their pilots license & STEM related degrees that are standard for applications as astronauts.

For those of us who wear Blue Suits, or Orange Suits, or Rainbow colored suits, or White/Pink/Silver any other colored NASA Suits to encourage research & teach & what have not, the increase in participation by applicants shows that there is a higher demand that exceeds the market, and I will say this about having read part of the article, that it gets to a point when you apply yourself, and you have seen that we are breaking the barriers for women to be in these positions, that we know we have come along way since Sally Ride, I have a Women as Astronauts Book I am hoping to be able to incorporate in my teaching, and feedback that I have gotten from other people who have worked in bed-rest studies that help with the data that they use before they try out new techniques with the astronauts is that "Men and Women are different, at NASA it is not political, it is something that we now understand and have embraced"- Heather Archuletta, and Mae Jemison, in an interview that I did with her, said that she wanted people to just be able to look at her and see her accomplishments so that they understood what it took for her to get there.

I think the biggest part of the commitment that we make to fulfill are dreams and continue training is the responsibility we undertake in living that dream. We have opportunities now with Virtual Reality, and robotics, to train in assistance with these missions, that rewire the brain to be prepared for the scenarios, and making these things more readily available to people who are interested cuts down the cost of doing actual training with reduced error, to be able to monitor our physiological responses and prepare for flight, space walks, combat situations, disaster training, & I have met some people who want to visit mars, but do not want to go through the training, so that would be more ideal for them, whereas the rest of us who would make it a career to pave the way for the next generation of explorers to space, are willing to go through the process of obtaining our degrees, language studying, flight training, & these virtual reality and robotics training.

I am not sure when we will be able to buy property on Mars, as Elon Musk said in the Big Bang Theory, we might not be there yet. We do have launch pads being built in Texas for private use, and with 18,000+ applicants from 6,000+ applicants, 300+% three hundred plus percent increase, we should have also with the Wright Amendment being expired, a lot more pilots, astronauts, and tourist travelers eager to make it to a launch pad.

Applied for the Astronaut Program

On February 18th, applications for the astronaut program close. I designed an outline for my own patch as a reward for applying. I ordered new patches for my 5 suits that I am teaching in, and one for Squire Maguire the Astronaut Poodle. My non-profit for Space Princess (Spaceprincess.org) is in need of new board members, and I spoke with a woman who overseas a degree program at George Washington University, that enables the community and industry leaders and business owners, to work together in a format to make the curriculum somewhat like the Naveen Jindal Idea of the Global EMBA, or tailored MBA, because there is a conference coming up at that university related to space that I inquired about attending, and wanted to have a meeting about their program in between the conference.

The better business bureau and I spoke about going through some documents to be able to utilize their format so that some of my companies have the workload to hire staff and expand business, which means that I am in the process of fulfilling that request.

Les Femmes Du Monde's new president asked me to move our Children's Health meeting from May to June so that we could cater to a speak for Nancy Reagan's former Chief of Staff, & we are going to have to find a hosting home or a business place that will let us either bring in catering, or a restaurant depending on whether or not security detail is needed.

Last night we had a Fashionistas even supporting a local artist, so today I will be spending time on assignments for some of my professors/colleagues/peers & then later on I am taking a student to a library to look at some historical documents.

I wrote a letter to a Chancellor, about PhD Candidates having help with their dissertations, & I have been outlining my life plan to include going into neurosurgery and aerospace medicine, and how I would scholar myself to do so, provide support business-wise for companies I have already created and have done business for years as, and new ones, or non-profits, that have taken up a heavy chunk of my effort to help others who are not as experiences get established, which for serial entrepreneurs can become second nature for initiation of the process, but the follow through required from other parties who requested your consulting and expertise and name on the docket is a completely different thing in it's entirety.

I now am also experimenting with a storefront to see what I am needing for professional development, and so forth with supporting programs that I have developed with other leaders, & educational endeavors.

I guess applying for the astronaut program is a first step in commitment, & I have a plethora of people from NASA who have encouraged me to do so, as well as family, friends, and educational partners, that have allowed me to be me to the best of my ability.

Glamour magazine made me proud in putting the women who want to go to Mars, who were already astronauts on their front cover for an issue. While members of congress, might not see the importance of our deep exploration mission collectively from some reports about last Wednesday's meeting, pushing the boundaries of exploration as a human undertaking to connect in a universal manner and searching for the unknown to be, well known, is similar to the historical explorations as a civilization we have done with reward and consequence within our own earth to understand it, & defining what is undefinable to ourselves as a species is the creation of mankind immersing ourselves in our own future.

I have felt the growth of the City of Dallas, the Universities in it's corridor, as well as surrounding areas, & for a shining city and a bright future with us all unbridled in regards to the endless possibilities, I leave you this; with the morning dew should you kiss the sky.
