& a few steps along the way....

Searching for yourself can sometimes be a difficult thing to do. One of the most important investments I made in life was taking a business class that included not only business plan, but life goals. While finishing an international marketing class I was approached by a group that wanted to start a new club at Collin College that was a spin off from the National Society for Leadership and Success. After attending a meeting and getting a booklet from Alpha Sigma Pi, a Business Honor Society came together to learn Robert's Rules of Order and establish a division at the local college in Plano, Texas. Pi itself was a mathematical number I associated myself with at a very early age because it was described as infinite. I was told Pi goes beyond the decimal place in a random order forever. Therefore, I have listed some of my C.V. here. During the Neuro-Ethics conference at Southern Methodist University I attended in 2009, I asked questions and got answers and needed to find a way to relate to what specifics I wanted to research. Having been a patient who changed her brain to change her life before she hit the 25 years in Dr. Daniel Amen's book, I wasn't sure what to do after 20 some odd years on different medications and wanted to know more about where to go from there. Being President of a Foreign Languages Club I was searching for a pattern linguistically after picking up a book about linguistics and mathematics. So I came up with a side project for my own topic N.E.M.A.L. Neuro Ethics Mathematics And Languages. The Principal Investigator certification training is really what the faculty needs at UTD and I choose to go through the training to see what they went through state side. State side is really a terminology the military uses to say you are back in the United States but Texas has written in it's constitution we can Secede from the Union. I took a semester off and went through a number of student organizations at UTD to meet people and see what the student body was like and feel out my areas of interest. Dean Fitch had suggested I take 4 months to myself and at the time I was finishing a piece for UTDTV. Currently I am organizing my journals so this one pictured here at the end of the certificates for NEMAL has some binding issues because I have worn it out, but I have taken a book binding course in Addison so perhaps at another class when the schedule and travel on my part becomes available with my flight training at American Flyers I will be able to fix it.
